01Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Amarah, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Amarah regarding your use of the service.

02Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age.
  • You must be legally eligible for marriage.
  • You must provide truthful, accurate information.
  • You must be using the platform for marriage-minded introductions, not casual dating.
  • You must not misrepresent your marital status or identity.

03Our service

  • Profile creation and guided onboarding.
  • Identity and background verification.
  • Human review and curated introductions.
  • Compatibility-based match consideration.
  • Optional family-aware facilitation where appropriate.

Note: Amarah does not guarantee marriage outcomes. We provide a structured introduction service, not a guaranteed result.

04Account responsibilities

  • Keep your login credentials secure.
  • Provide truthful information on your profile and during verification.
  • Treat members, families, and staff respectfully.
  • Report suspicious or unsafe behaviour.
  • Use the platform only in accordance with these terms and applicable law.

05Verification process

Amarah may require identity verification, background checks, references, interviews, or related review steps before or during use of the service.

We may pause, reject, or suspend any account that fails verification or appears to involve false, misleading, unsafe, or inconsistent information.

06Prohibited conduct

  • Providing false or misleading information.
  • Harassing, threatening, or disrespecting any member, family, or team member.
  • Using the platform for purposes other than marriage-minded introductions.
  • Sharing another member’s private information without permission.
  • Attempting to bypass verification, safety, or billing controls.
  • Fraud, deception, scamming, or impersonation.

Note: Serious violations may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal.

07Subscriptions and payments

Amarah may operate on a recurring subscription basis. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges for your selected plan until cancellation.

Plan pricing, renewal timing, and included features are described on the platform at the time of purchase.

  • Billing renews automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date.
  • Cancellation stops future renewals but does not retroactively refund time already billed unless required by law.
  • Verification-related steps may remain subject to separate review timing even after payment is made.

08Limitation of liability

Amarah provides a curated introduction service. While we use screening and review processes, we cannot guarantee the character, conduct, intentions, or compatibility of any member.

To the extent permitted by law, Amarah is not liable for losses or harms arising from introductions, communications, meetings, or relationship outcomes connected to the platform.

09Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there.

Any legal proceeding relating to these terms will be brought in the appropriate courts of Ontario, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

10Dispute resolution

Before starting formal proceedings, both parties agree to try to resolve disputes in good faith.

Where permitted by law, unresolved disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration in Ontario under applicable arbitration rules.

Note: Any claim must be brought on an individual basis and not as part of a class or representative action, unless prohibited by law.

11Account termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, present safety concerns, provide false information, or otherwise harm the integrity of the community.

You may also request account deletion at any time through our contact form.

12Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If material changes are made, we may notify members by email or through the platform.

Continuing to use Amarah after those changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
