After you submit your application, our team guides you through identity verification, the criminal background check, employment confirmation, and reference outreach. You'll then schedule a live interview with a coordinator. Most people complete everything within five to ten business days.
Can I upgrade from Standard to Premium later?
Yes. You can upgrade at any time. You won't need to redo verification — your file is already in our system. We'll simply assign a personal matchmaker and increase your monthly introductions.
What does "curated introduction" mean?
It means a real human matchmaker has reviewed both profiles, considered the compatibility scores, and made a judgment call that the two of you are genuinely worth meeting — not just algorithmically compatible. You won't receive introductions just to fill a quota.
Is my profile visible to the public?
Never. Your profile, photos, and personal information are only ever seen by our verified team and the specific members we introduce you to. Nothing is browsable. Nothing is searchable. Your privacy is part of the product.
Can I pause or cancel my membership?
Yes. You can cancel anytime before your next billing date with no penalty. If you need to pause your search for a life event or travel, contact us and we'll work with you — we'd rather you come back when you're ready than lose you to a technicality.
Does Amarah work for converts and reverts to Islam?
Absolutely. Our interview process is designed to give converts space to share their story. Matching focuses on shared values, character, and long-term compatibility — not cultural familiarity or background. We actively work to introduce converts to families and individuals who are genuinely open and supportive.
What if I'm not matched with anyone in the first month?
This is rare, but if our matchmakers cannot identify a strong introduction for you in a given month, we'll tell you why and what we're working on. We don't send weak introductions to fill a number. Contact us and we'll discuss your situation directly.
